Areas I Can Support You With
Ileana Vahtin
I’ve always been fascinated by how people move through change: how we adapt, grow and find meaning, even during the most difficult times.
Having immigrated to Canada at a young age, I learned firsthand what it means to navigate a new environment and find your sense of place. This experience sparked my interest in human resilience and mental health and ultimately led me to pursue a degree in Psychology at Concordia University.
After completing my degree, I began providing mental health support to people across Canada through an Employee Assistance Program. I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life and diverse cultural backgrounds as they navigate burnout, low mood, anxiety, relationship challenges and major life transitions. Through this experience, I’ve learned that every story is unique and that, even in difficult moments, we often carry strengths and resources that can help us move forward.
My approach is human, collaborative and solution-oriented. I believe support should go beyond simply talking about what’s difficult. Together, we explore what you’re experiencing, build on your existing strengths and develop practical ways to navigate the challenges you’re facing. Along the way, we work on tools and strategies that can support you in your everyday life.
I believe that even when we feel disconnected from ourselves, our inner light is still there. Sometimes, we simply need the right space and support to find our way back to ourselves.
